Overview
The Name Registrations screen is designed to store information about the name of a company and prepare documents for relevant changes.
Navigation
From the Main Toolbar, go to Company. |

Select the Company from the list. |

Select Name Registrations |
Details
To add a Company Name, click
Select Change Company Name
Field | Explanation |
Intended Company Name | Enter the intended company's name. |
Intended Chinese Company Name | Enter the intended Chinese Company Name. |
Resolution Date | The date the name change resolution was passed. |
Once completed, Click
Forms Prepared
CAS 360 will display the Document Production screen and automatically select the documents required:
- Cover Letter (optional)
- Directors Minutes or Resolution
- Notice of Members Meeting (optional)
- Members Minutes or Resolution
- Members Consent to Short Notice
- Form NNC2 - Notice of Change of Company Name
- Form IRC3110A - Notification of Change of Business Name (optional)
Select the icon to change any of the document settings. Different options will appear depending on the document type.
Updating the Company Name
After preparing the Name Change forms, the new company name will display as pending in the Name Registrations screen. The Old company name will continue to display in the Company Selection screen.
Once the relevant forms have been lodged and approved, users can update the pending status.
Beside the pending name change, click
Select Remove Pending Status.
Enter the effective date (date of successful lodgement).
The company name in the Company Selection screen will be updated and the pending status will be removed from the Name Registration screen.
