SMS Templates

The SMS Templates screen allows you to customise SMS messages sent from CAS 360. 

Default SMS templates are already set up for you for each SMS template type. However, you are in complete control to personalise the following SMS templates:

  • Document Deadline Reminder: When a Lodgement Deadline alert triggers, CAS 360 users have the ability to send an SMS reminder to the company officers advising them of the deadline.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Settings

How to Edit a Template

Simply click on a template to start editing, alternatively, select Create New to create new SMS templates. 

Once a template is selected, make the desired changes in the text field

mceclip5.png To make the current template the default template to be sent from CAS 360. By setting a template as the Default, CAS 360 will have the template automatically selected prior to sending the SMS.
To update the template changes
Close the email template screen 

Before CAS 360 sends the Document Deadline Reminder, users are able to select the template to be used.

CAS 360 can include codes in the SMS templates.

These codes can be used when users wish to select a variable rather than a fixed item. For example, rather than creating an SMS with "26/10/2021" as the due date, "${dueDate}" could be entered. CAS 360 will automatically insert the due date from the company document. 

Description Code Where is this information in CAS 360?
Firm Name ${FirmName} Name of your firm.
Company Name ${companyName} Entered into the Company Name field in the General Details screen.
Form Title ${formTitle} Title of the generated form in Document Production.
Due Date ${dueDate} The due date for the document before any Late Fee applies 
Document Link ${documentLink} Link of the generated form in Document Production.
